Not much research can be found regarding this particular Phenomena as no one really knows what or indeed who they are. When we talk about Shadow People or The Shadows as they liked to be called they are most commonly associated with the dark side and are Evil. I myself am not sure why this is the case is it just the fact that they are dark , elusive therefore being labelled as evil. Many people who have encountered Shadows have stated they felt an overwhelming sense of forboding and felt Physicaly sick when they were present. I myself have witnessed Shadow People on many occasions and i have to say although they are very un-nerving i have never felt either.
Paranormal or Natural
The reason why i ask this is if they are Paranormal or not is because i myself am not convinced they are, although this is only my opinion.From what i know of this Phenomena due to my research is how they can travel at a Phenomenal rate and can show themselfs as either a Black mist, a silhouette or even a full blown apparition. The many times i have seen these Shadows i get the feeling of being watched as if they are observing us as much as we are observing them ! is this the case ? so who is watching who . So it remains to be seen if they are infact Paranormal or could it be possible for them to come from a different dimension. Shadow People have shown their selfs to many people throughout history in many shapes and forms here are a few examples of when they have been reported.
Ghosts or Extraterestrial
A strange one you might think and one many people will not agree with, there are many well documented cases from all over the world about this phenomena being experienced by the abductees and people who suffer from sleep paralysis ( see alien abduction and sleep paralysis page ). Having experienced this myself i can identify with the feelings associated with the above, although today it is just put down to a sleep disorder and nothing sinister i know myself and many like me would question this. Speaking from a personal point of veiw i cant quite grasp the scientific answer as to why this happens as the experience is all to real, and of course science as we all know can sometimes be very wrong . Im not to convince this phenomena wants us to really know what or who they are as is often the case, they maybe here for other reasons that we are just not ment to know. A bitter pill to swallow but a fact maybe none the less.
Watching us Watching them
As will all the different types of phenomena we try and research our aim is to hopefully one day prove without any doubt that what it is we are looking for is really here ? So the question i ask myself time and time again is are we studying shadow people or are they infact studying us ! lets be honest here for a minute they are infact more advanced than us as if they have crossed they will know they answers we seek, they move at such pace its impossible to catch them, you always know when they are present as you get that overwhelming feeling of being watched, and if they really want they can make us feel as uneasy or frightened as they want. So why then are they so elusive, well i'll leave this one open for debate and maybe one day we will all know their real purpose who knows.
